My blogs appear at Currently, I'm writing two on  a fairly regular basis.

The first, Footloose, consists of random essays on running related topics. I generally write about something that's in the news recently, or something related to my own writing and work at Runner's World.

The second, Peak Performance, usually reviews the very latest health-fitness-nutrition-performance news from the medical/scientific world. I point out recent studies on everything from supplements to weight-loss to long/healthy-life strategies to training breakthroughs. When possible, I try to put the studies in a context that helps you understand their significance . . . or lack thereof.
